Tablenaut scans the webpage for HTML
<table> elements. If no tables are detected,
the Tablenaut button will not appear. You can manually trigger a
scan by right-clicking anywhere on the page and selecting
“Tablenaut → Scan for tables” from the context menu.
Some websites use images or SVGs to display information instead of
actual text. Unfortunately, these elements often lack
accessibility features such as
<title> attributes or
<aria-labels>, so Tablenaut can’t extract their
contents.
Some older websites use the <table> element for
page layout rather than for tabular data. When this happens,
Tablenaut may detect and display the button on those layout tables
as well.
Not yet — Tablenaut currently doesn’t support infinite scrolling or paginated tables. This feature is on our product roadmap, and we’re working to include it in a future update.
